You must read the following document and ensure that you are willing to accept the conditions by which the Developer makes the downloadable font (”The font”) available to you. By downloading the software you will be deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions outlined herein.
END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
FOR ALVI NASTALEEQ
End-User License Agreement (”EULA”) is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and Amjad Alvi for the font(s) identified above which may include associated font components, media, printed materials, and “online” or electronic documentation (”ALVI NASTALEEQ”). By installing, copying, or otherwise using the ALVI NASTALEEQ, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. This license agreement represents the entire agreement concerning the program between you and Amjad Alvi, (referred to as “licenser”), and it supersedes any prior proposal, representation, or understanding between the parties. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, do not install or use the ALVI NASTALEEQ.
The ALVI NASTALEEQ is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. The ALVI NASTALEEQ is licensed, not sold.
1. GRANT OF LICENSE.
The ALVI NASTALEEQ is licensed as follows:
(a) Installation and Use.
Amjad Alvi grants you the right to install and use copies of the ALVI NASTALEEQ on your computer running a validly licensed copy of the operating system for which the ALVI NASTALEEQ was designed [e.g., Windows 95, Windows NT, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows XP, Windows ME, Windows Vista, All Linux versions].
(b) Backup Copies.
You may also make backup copies of the ALVI NASTALEEQ as may be necessary for future usage.
2. DESCRIPTION OF OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS.
a) Maintenance of Copyright Notices.
You must not remove or alter any copyright notices on any and all copies of the ALVI NASTALEEQ.
b) Usages:
You are permitted to download the font, copy it onto your personal computer and use it for accessing, viewing and making, for your own personal use only,
c) Distribution.
You may not re-distribute ALVI NASTALEEQ to third parties. Free versions available for download from Amjad Alvi’s websites may be freely distributed.
d) Prohibition on Reverse Engineering, Decompilation, and Disassembly & any Commercial Use
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the ALVI NASTALEEQ, except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation. A written certificate of permission is required if this product or any of its components are to be used in a package. Contents of this product in part or whole cannot be copied or\and used for any other development. This font cannot be sold or used in any commercial form. Sale of this product is prohibited.
e) Rental.
You may not rent, lease, or lend the ALVI NASTALEEQ.
f) Compliance with Applicable Laws.
You must comply with all applicable laws regarding use of the ALVI NASTALEEQ.
3. TERMINATION
Without prejudice to any other rights, Amjad Alvi may terminate this EULA if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this EULA. In such event, you must destroy all copies of the ALVI NASTALEEQ in your possession.
4. COPYRIGHT
All title, including but not limited to copyrights, in and to the ALVI NASTALEEQ and any copies thereof are owned by Amjad Alvi or its suppliers. All title and intellectual property rights in and to the content which may be accessed through use of the ALVI NASTALEEQ is the property of the respective content owner and may be protected by applicable copyright or other intellectual property laws and treaties. This EULA grants you no rights to use such content. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Amjad Alvi.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In no event shall Amjad Alvi be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, lost profits, business interruption, or lost information) rising out of Authorized Users’ use of or inability to use the ALVI NASTALEEQ, even if Amjad Alvi has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event will Amjad Alvi be liable for loss of data or for indirect, special, incidental, consequential (including lost profit), or other damages based in contract, tort or otherwise. Amjad Alvi shall have no liability with respect to the content of the website or program using ALVI NASTALEEQ or any part thereof, including but not limited to errors or omissions contained therein, libel, infringements of rights of publicity, privacy, trademark rights, business interruption, personal injury, loss of privacy, moral rights or the disclosure of confidential information

السلام علییکم
میں نے علوی نستعلیق اور جمیل نوری نستعلیق دونوں کا استعمال کیا ہے لیکن میرے خیال میں علوی میں کچھ کمیاں ہیں جبکہ وہی الفاظ میں نے جمیل میں لکھے تو بلکل صحیھ لکھے گئے۔

علوی صاحب آپ نےبہت محنت سے یہ فونٹ بنایا ہے، اور قارئین کو پیش کیا ہے. لیکن اس کا لائسنس آپ کی کاوشوں اور خلوص کے متقاضی اور زیبا نہیں ہے. اوپن سورس سافٹ ویئر کی ترویج و اعانت کے لیے آپ کو اسے “GNU GPL v2.0 ” یا “BSD License” یا “Creative Commons License” کے تحت دینا چاہیئے. کیوں لوگ جب آپ کا فونٹ زیادہ پیمانے پر استعمال کرنا چاہیں گے، تو انھیں آپ کے خط کو مختلف جگہوں پر استعمال کرنا ہو گا اور اشاعت کرنی ہو گی. اور شاید خط میں بعض موجود مسائل کی وجہ سے اس میں کچھ ازالوں کی بھی ضرورت پڑے گی. اگر آپ یہ خط ان لائسنسوں کے تحت دیں گے، تو اوپن سورس کمیونٹی آسانی اور جلدی سے اس میں درستگیاں کر سکے گی. یاد رکھنا چاہیئے ان اوپر لائسنسوں سے آپ کی عزت اور وقار میں کمی نہ آئے گی، بلکہ لوگ آپ کا احترام آپ کے خلوص کی وجہ سے زیادہ کریں گے. اس سے خط کی کوالٹی میں بھی اضافہ آئے گا، کیوں کہ اور خوش نویس بھی اس کام میں آپ کے شانہ بشانہ چل سکیں گے.
